Rotan ED pumps are manufactured in cast iron or stainless steel, where the fluid is confined in a capsule, within this encapsulation is the inner magnet attached to the pump shaft, this inner magnet is driven by the outer magnet that receives movement directly from the electric motor. Due to its construction, there are no sealing systems by which we can leak product to the outside.
The Rotan ED magnetic drive version can be a monobloc version or with a free shaft on a bench and driven by a gearmotor or directly by the electric motor. The arrangement of the flanges can be in line or at 90º, in both cases having the possibility of reversing the direction of flow without the need for bypass lines or changes in the pipes.
The pumps can be supplied with single or double acting internal recirculation bypass valves to protect the equipment from overpressures.
The Rotan ED family of pumps are especially recommended for pumping fluids that react when they come into contact with the atmosphere or are harmful to people or the environment.
